Booking Your Hunt

  • Gather-up your group of 2-5 hunters
  • Select the Cabin Hunt that fits your group size and Book It!
  • 50% deposit is required to book a hunt
  • Final Payment – Is due July 1st

Additional Information

  • Hunters will be provided an aerial map of the hunting property indicating boundaries and recommended hunting areas. Location and directions to your cabin will also be provided.
  • Hunter provided bait, doe harvest, ATV use, and predator hunting rules vary for individual properties, see hunt details or contact us to discuss any questions you may have.
  • While we keep the availability of our hunts as current as possible, please contact us before booking to verify the availability of your hunt.
  • We accept cash, personal checks, certified checks, and money orders for your 50% deposit and final payment. Deposits and final payments are non-refundable.
  • Ohio Non-resident hunting licenses are about $125 and deer permits are about $24
  • Ohio requires all first year hunters (under 21) must complete a hunter’s safety course to purchase an Ohio licenses.  You will need proof of completing a hunter’s safety course or a previous hunting license along with driver’s licenses to purchase your licenses and permit.

RULES

  • Hunters are Responsible for the following:
    • Transportation to and from your hunt
    • Game care from tracking, retrieving, field dressing, dragging, processing or transport to/from processors, etc. ATV’s may or may not be allowed for Game Retrieval, see hunt details.
    • Scouting, providing, setting, and retrieving tree stands and or portable ground blinds (USE OF TSA APPROVED SAFETY HARNESS IS REQUIRED TO HUNT FROM AN ELEVATED POSITION, HUNTER PROVIDED)
    • Knowledge of and compliance with Ohio hunting laws per current version of Ohio Hunting Regulations, purchasing required hunting licenses and permit.
  • We encourage youth hunting and allow minors from age 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. A completed Minor Indemnification Form is required. Minors are considered hunters and count towards the total number of hunters per hunt.
  • Hunters must bring their own climbing or hang-on tree stands, climbing sticks, or portable ground blinds. (USE OF SCREW-IN TREE STEPS PROHIBITED)
  • Hunters are responsible for keeping within the property boundaries at all times. Boundaries are indicated on the provided map.
  • We encourage our hunters to promote Ohio’s Trophy Whitetail Bucks. We require a gross minimum score of 135-inches.
  • A portion of the terrain on the properties is rugged with steep cliffs. Hunters must use caution and know their limitations when navigating these areas.  Hunters are responsible for their own safety.
  • We respect our deer and ask that you, as a responsible hunter, practice with your equipment to the extent possible to successfully and ethically harvest your deer.
  • Should the unfortunate occurrence of wounding a deer without immediate recovery happen, the hunter must contact B.O.W. immediately for further guidance. A wounded deer will be considered retrievable for 24 hours after the shot. Hunters shall not continue hunting until this time period has passed and extensive efforts have been made to retrieve the deer. Should a hunter wound a second deer without recovery over a 24 hour period the hunters hunt is considered finished.
  • Hunters shall not hunt while intoxicated or after consuming alcohol.
  • Hunters are encouraged to bring a hand held GPS for ease of navigation and game carts for animal retrieval.
